i logged on for 30 minutes last night... no one was on. I dropped in on a radio tower defended by about 12 men... i took them out with mad sniping skills and secured it. AAlso... why am I not permitted to fly helos?

The first time you connect to a campaign, you start with default permissions- which we have set to Light Vehicles only. I dropped by later that evening for five minutes to fill yours out. (I wasn't up to playing- got my COVID vaccine yesterday and I was hella groggy.)

However, since I assume you're on the whitelist of people who can take the Commander role, you could've given this to yourself. Just take Commander for a minute, open the mousewheel context menu, and scroll down to "PERMISSIONS." Update it accordingly, choose "Save Changes," and then reconnect as the class you prefer.
