Haven't been on in a long time... just checking in.

My summer is getting cut short again... have to have another surgery. Mayo on the 26th. 

And then back to 3 month scans.
Is anyone still playing? or are we all kinda taking the summer off.

You asked this in May, too, Beef! Don't you recall? Five or six posts down in this category. Anyway, yes, summer is our offseason. Sometimes you see me or Dark or Viking on, but that's about it. Folks are out and about, especially with places loosening COVID restrictions for vaccinated folks. People had a whole year of cabin fever, y'know. Speaking for myself, I get roped into driving my wife and our nieces and nephews somewhere just about every weekend. They wanna go to Valleyfair, they wanna go to the pool or the water park, my sister in law wants me to teach her how to make ogre stew, etc etc. You know how it is.

I'm sure when the weather turns back to overcast grey drizzly nonsense, we'll all be online a lot more, y'know?

ya, lol, i saw that after i posted this...

Some of you know, if we are facebook friends... But I had kidney cancer about 2 years ago.  massive surgery back then to get it all out... left me with 2/3rds of one kidney.
this new one is that same cancer that spread, but they found it early and it's only 1 cm around so they will freeze it to kill it. I'll only be out of commission for a few days.

in a way, looking forward to winter to play a little bit again... but not before hunting season.

I got the Rona, so I'm quarantined for a couple weeks
