Last post by =JpS=SgtRock - March 14, 2022, 06:30:18 PMAntistasi was hanging after the last server update. It's probably just as well. RL has kept me from playing for several weeks and the server was sitting empty. I guess everyone else had either given up on the mod or are playing elsewhere?
In any event, right now the server is set up to let people pick a mission and run. Bullets and I played through several of the Apex Protocol campaign. We both noticed occasional glitches black screen when first spawning in so it looks like it's still not 100% kosher. I'll see if I can't dig up a couple of some older, fairly vanilla missions to throw up on the server. If anyone has anything like that, shoot me or Dark a copy of it and we'll see about getting it loaded up.
In the meantime I'm still working on a persistent mission in fits and starts. Mostly fits lately, again due to RL getting in the way. I'm also looking for alternatives to Antistasi to give us some more variety. For example, co40 Domination is still being actively updated after nearly five years. Another alternative is to use something like Drongo's Map Population mod, MCC, and/or KP Liberation in conjunction with the Zeus Enhanced to create on the fly missions. Those can be a blast.
Any preferences? Other options that you might be interested in?
