1) Everyone should be in a squad.
2) Most communication by players should be confined to their squad via the Group channel.
3) Vehicle channel can be used to talk to a driver not in your squad.
4) Use the Direct channel for people close by who are not in your squad.
5) Squad leaders use Command channel for coordinating with the Commander and between squads.
6) Use the Side channel only for map markers that everyone needs to know about.
